Ronnie Thornburg and Bassist John Houlihan have been the heartbeat of Faithful Kate (formally Rockin Horse) since the band’s first ride in 1992. From Shaky Ground, the band’s thunderous jam, featuring Ron’s double kick drums, to his blues shuffle and John’s haunting bass riffs on their upcoming track “Sippin Glass” they’re a dynamic rhythm duo.
The studio was buzzing last night as Ron prepared to record the final drum tracks for “Sippin Glass”. Ronnie says he believes his and John’s connection is where all the fun rhythm’s originate. “It’s different having everyone track separately so to keep with tradition I requested that John play all the tracks along with me, it’s our groove.” ~ Ron. It’s so fun having these two tracking here together, studio got the rhythm guys!
